However it works with kernel version 3.0-ARCH (the one included with the archlinux-2011.08.19-core-x86_64 iso). I see no output from my remote when using ir-keytable -t, all configurations look right and there are no errors in dmesg or ir-keytable. In kernel version 3.4.7-1-ARCH (current at the time of this writing) and a few others before it, my IR receiver has stopped working.
